You will find award winning titles new and old. Our "As Gaeilge" children's stock is second to none. Popular books always find their way onto our shelves and into childrens' hands!

Our Reading Levels

      Blue Dots

Age 0-4: For pre-readers. Classic and new picture books for parents / teachers to read to younger children. Board books. Lift the flap books. Sensory books. Alphabet books. Books introducing numbers and colours. Fairy tales. Nursery rhymes. Story Collections. Starting to read books.

    Yellow Dots

Age 5-8: For beginner readers. Easy to read books. Popular series such as O’Brien’s, Leapfrogs, Read at Home, with graded reading schemes. Large format Picture Books for class work. Look out for great series with much loved characters such as Dirty Bertie, Horrid Henry, Oliver Moon and much much more.

    Purple Dots

Aged 9-11: For independent readers. The world is our Children’s oyster in this category. Fly off to Hogwarts with JK Rowling; follow the hilarious daily mundane routines of Jeff Kinney’s “Wimpy Kid” or catch-up with all time favourites such as Roald Dahl and Enid Blyton.

Aged 12-14: For Fluent Readers.You will be spoilt for choice. Stories to suit all tastes, from Artemis Fowl to Jacqueline Wilson; from the classics to new novels; from the best of today's children's authors to classics. We also have plenty of graphic novels - everyone's favourite superheroes - Batman, X-Men.
