Children's Book Festival 2019

The annual Children’s Book Festival helps spread the enjoyment of books and reading among children and families, authors and illustrators, teachers and librarians all over Ireland. Cavan Library Service has been organising Children's Book Festival events for many years and as support of the festival is a central tenet of the Right to Read initiative, this programme will continue to be a central focus for years to come. This October we will welcome authors and storytellers to Cavan Libraries to perform for primary school children so don't be surprised if your child comes home with a tall tale or two!!
