Public libraries’ annual Spring Into Storytime programme promises to bring the magic of storytime to homes across the country this April and Cavan Library Service will be right at the heart of the fun. Spring Into Storytime is online this year of course and we have organised virtual events and activities, all based around reading and listening to stories, which families can enjoy. So explore all we have on offer for Spring Into Storytime 2020 on our events page - new storytimes and fun will be added throughout the month!

Reading with children and access to books has many important long-term benefits. Children who develop an interest in stories and reading have been found to have greater self-esteem and well-being, greater creativity and imagination, better social and health outcomes, and an overall better quality of life as they get older. The Spring into Storytime initiative is a creative way in which children’s literacy skills can be developed.

You and your family can enjoy the following - click on the links below to explore all we have on offer for Spring Into Storytime 2020!
