Cavan County Library Service is delighted to announce that TTRS (Touch, Type, Read, Spell) is now available to all our members for FREE!
Touch-type Read and Spell is an award-winning, multi-sensory course that teaches touch-typing, reading and spelling. It is suitable for children, young adults, adults & anyone with diverse learning needs. It is specifically designed for those with dyslexia and dyspraxia but can be used by all learners of all ages and stages.
The programme is used by over 200 centres around Ireland including schools, colleges, libraries, adult education centres and Education & Training Boards and is proving very successful in developing the literacy as well as the confidence and self-esteem of children and adults with learning differences. TTRS is also being used in Dyslexia Association of Ireland workshops and in several joint projects with the British Dyslexia Association.
TTRS is an online programme so there are no installation/hardware issues, and that means that students can work on TTRS at home and in a school environment at their own pace.
