Children's Books Ireland provide wonderful reading guides for children.  Children's Books Ireland's work aims to inspire and enable children and young people to become readers for life. They support authors and illustrators and we inform families, teachers, booksellers, librarians, publishers and other adults who influence children and young people's reading.

World Book Day in another fantastic resource for recommended reads for children. World Book Day changes lives through a love of books and shared reading. They are a charity that operates in the UK and Ireland. They celebrate World Book Day every year and will next be celebrating World Book Day on 2 March 2023. Their mission is to promote reading for pleasure, offering every child and young person the opportunity to have a book of their own. 

The Worlds Book Day website has extensive guides for children and teens and give children, families, teachers and librarians ideas of what books are suitable and brilliant for each age and stage of reading.  We highly recommend!
