Artist collaboration with Collette Kearney

The Denn Development Community Mural is a vibrant, collaborative artwork that celebrates community pride, creativity and shared identity in the local area. Led by professional artist Collette Kearney, the project placed local voices, stories and experiences at the heart of the creative process.

Through a community workshop, residents of all ages were invited to explore themes important to their community – connection, place, memory and hope for the future. Participants worked alongside Collette to develop the mural’s imagery, colours and symbols, ensuring the final artwork truly reflects the locality the people who live there.

The completed mural now serves as a powerful visual landmark within the community. It not only enhances the local environment but also stands as a lasting reminder of what can be achieved when creativity, collaboration and community leadership come together.
